Howdy! Summer keeps rolling along.  Epic vacation rides, Sturgis trips, the Hoka Hey going on... there is no shortage of great motorcycle content to sink your teeth into at the moment.  As a chapter, we are gearing up for yet another vacation ride, this time to Arkansas for 4 days, and our chapter picnic.  As always, check the calendar for more details on these events.

Howdy! What's with the rain everytime I am getting ready to post this HOG Officer's Newsletter???  Is this newsletter cursed, bringing us gloomy days and cancelled rides?  Well, whatever it is, I hope everyone is taking the time to wash the bike, do some upgrades or preventative maintenance, or maybe even cracking open a favorite beverage and living vicarriously through the photos of those lucky members touring across the western half of the US for the past 15 or so days!  Whatever you are doing, know that the chapter can't wait to ride with you again!

Kickoff is Approaching!

We are officially 2 weeks away from the kickoff ride for the Sweetest Miles event.  I mean, it’s been hot enough for ice cream, right?  We’ve had a few ice cream rides hit the calendar already, and the Blue Bell ride looks like it was a ton of fun.  The kickoff ride is June 21st to Popps Parlor in Old Town Spring, KSU at 4pm, departing from the Dealership. The Sweetest Miles is coming June 21 – August 31, and participating is simple: Ride your motorcycle. Get ice cream. Take a photo. That’s it. No mileage minimums. Local Dairy Queen runs count. Cross-country adventures count. Independent parlors, snow cones, homemade ice cream — if there’s a bike, a treat, and a photo, it probably counts.
